Public areas at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York
Hyatt Hotels, which acquired hotel booking platform Mr & Mrs Smith in 2023, announced that 700 Mr & Mrs Smith hotels are now available through the World of Hyatt guest loyalty program platform.
Mr and Mrs Smith features what Hyatt calls a “carefully curated” group of 1,500 hotels in 20 countries.
The news comes shortly after the announcement that Hilton Worldwide and Small Luxury Hotels of the World have formed a new partnership, adding hundreds of hotels to the hotelier's Hilton Honors guest loyalty program platform.
The hotel's addition allows members of Hyatt's loyalty program to enjoy a variety of options, from “cozy up in a secluded treehouse in the Arctic Circle, reigning supreme in an English country mansion, glamping under starry desert skies, and enjoying the wilderness in a jungle villa.” You will have new travel opportunities. “Over the Pacific Ocean.”
Hyatt has a similar, but now defunct, partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World that launched in August 2018.
Mr and Mrs Smith's 700 properties represent the first hotels to be available in this way and will add countries not previously available for booking through World of Hyatt, including Namibia, Fiji and the British Virgin Islands.
