Prince Harry and Meghan Markle immediately offered public support to Kate Middleton after she announced her battle with cancer. But as the family feud continues, has Kate and Prince William also reached out personally?
According to Report by Chris ShipAs ITV's royal correspondents, Harry and Megan were in private contact with William and Kate.
As for the method of contact, Ship wrote, “Not sure if it was a phone/video call or a message of support.”
Kate confirmed on Friday that the January 16 surgery, which was not thought to be related to the condition at the time, led to the discovery of cancer. In a direct-to-camera video, the ailing princess assured listeners that she was doing well and was starting chemotherapy after a long recovery from 'major abdominal surgery'.
She did not specify the type of cancer she was battling.

Since her announcement, which shocked the world and confounded conspiracy theorists, Kate has received warm and public support from the entire family, including Harry and Meghan.
“We wish Kate and her family good health and healing and hope they can do so privately and peacefully,” Harry and Meghan told CNN.
Buckingham Palace previously shared with People magazine that King Charles III was “very proud of Catherine's courageous comments.”
Her older brother, James Middleton, also posted a childhood photo and message on Instagram, writing, “We have climbed many mountains together over the years. We will climb this mountain with you as a family ⛰️❤️.”
Middleton is not expected to attend the Easter church service at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle as she continues her journey to health.
