If the jury gets the case Tuesday afternoon, it could take some time to reach a verdict, given the number of charges and the three paths jurors can take. But the paper trail and physical evidence are so strong against Trump that, as Cobb points out, it appears as if a conviction is on the way in this case, given the jury's instructions.
The jury can go in all directions and no one outside the jury will know what they are thinking. -The media has been convicting for several weeks.
Once again, once the jury gets the case, anything can happen. History is full of high-profile trials involving the rich and powerful where juries returned unexpected verdicts. But legal experts like Cobb agree that they expect Trump to be convicted.
