Jeffrey Greenstein, who recently left Millennium Media after 14 years in operation, founded A Higher Standard, a production and sales company.
Greenstein attended the EFM in Berlin to found the company. His first project will be an action comedy film. play dateHe is co-financing and co-producing with Nickel City's Mark Fasano.
The idea is for the company to develop and co-finance a range of film and TV projects with commercial appeal, including action, comedy and premium genres.
Greenstein joined Millennium Media in 2010 and handled more than 60 films during his time with the company, including: Expendables franchise, Olympus has fallen, London has fallenand an angel fell, Assassin's Bodyguard, Mechanism: Resurrectionand jolt With Kate Beckinsale and Stanley Tucci. In 2016, he became President of Millennium Media, managing all aspects of the independent studio.
Greenstein said his new team is “solely focused on building winning teams and supporting talented people. As disclosed yesterday, Greenstein was succeeded as chairman by Jonathan Yunger at Avi Lerner's Millennium.
