Former Attorney General Bill Barr has now declared his support for Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
His surprising transformation comes just months after he said he would jump off a bridge if there was a rematch between the former and incumbent presidents.
In an interview with Fox News host Neil Cavuto, Barr said he doesn't like having to choose between his former boss and President Biden, but ultimately it's Trump's policies that are better for America.
“I was satisfied with his policies. I think his policies were good policies,” Barr said of his time in the Trump administration. “My problems were caused by his actions, which I found to be very problematic after the election.”
It seems like someone has finally grown up. Pro-American policies are much more important than strange behavior. Getting through difficult times is much more important than personally hurt feelings caused by a bad tweet.

Barr will support Trump to do better for the country
Barr went on to state the obvious: that the Biden administration is burdened with a “totalitarian nature.”
“They embraced the progressive movement,” he said. “And they are trying to suppress dissent and freedom of speech.”
Barr clearly defined the Biden administration as “a greater threat to democracy” and noted that it is made up of “a bunch of high-handed thugs, in my opinion.”
Cavuto pointed to some of Barr's previous negative comments about Trump, calling the claims of a rigged election false and accusing his words of inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.
The Fox host reminded Barr that Trump said he “should not be anywhere near the Oval Office.”
“I don’t think so. Biden “It is true that it should be anywhere near the Oval Office,” he shot back.
This statement came a week after the former attorney general hinted that he would “support the Republican Party.”
“Trump may be playing Russian roulette, but for a Biden administration to continue is, in my opinion, national suicide,” Barr added.

'I'm going to jump off a bridge,' Barr said.
None of this is new information, as President Joe Biden has posed a greater threat to democracy since he stepped foot in the Oval Office.
But somehow Barr has managed to significantly change his views on the upcoming election.
In an NBC News survey of former Trump cabinet members, Barr made it clear that he would not support the former president's return to the White House.
Secretary Barr previously said, “I strongly oppose Trump’s nomination and have made it clear that I will not support him.”
When asked what Trump would do if he won the nomination and faced Biden again in 2024, he injected a bit of humor with a pun.
“When I get to the bridge, I’m going to jump,” Barr quipped.
Instead, Barr appears to have come to his senses. Trump is the presumptive candidate. It's time to choose a better leader, and he knows it.
Trump called Barr “slow and lethargic” and accused him of being “more interested in winning the approval of the corrupt Washington media and elites than serving the American people.”
Barr has been decidedly slow to recognize who the greater threat to this country is, and has been in the past.
