May 27 – It's been a great few weeks for Universal Halloween Horror Nights fans, as Universal confirms three more original haunted houses for this year's event, now bringing the total to six!
The fourth haunted house has been identified as Museum: Death Exhibition, which is definitely not your typical museum. This new folk museum exhibition, The Rotting Stone, is where evil escapes from within, destroying everything in its path.
The fifth haunted house was announced as Monstruos: Monsters of Latin America. Here, La Muerte will be your guide to three terrifying legends: Tlahuelpuchi, La Lechuza and El Silbon Monstruos.
And finally we are introduced to the sixth haunted house, the Triplets of Terror. Here you are invited to the Barmy triplets' birthday party, which turns out to be a brutal gathering celebrating the re-enactment of their family's murder.
It's really interesting to note that 6 of the 10 haunted houses featured in this year's Halloween Horror Nights 33 are based on original themes. We will bring you news of the final 4th album as soon as it is officially announced by Universal. What haunted house are you most excited about so far? May 22—Universal continues to excite fans with the announcement of two more haunted houses for this year's Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Orlando Resort.
The “Goblin's Feast Tavern” has been confirmed, where guests will visit Goblin Village, where a lavish feast is prepared for goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, and witches. The only problem is that you are the main course!
We also checked out another haunted house called “Major Sweets Candy Factory” where guests were invited to tour the candy factory. But these deadly, delicious snacks turn kids into sugar-addicted demons.
We look forward to hearing from Universal about additional haunted houses coming to Halloween Horror Nights 33 at Universal Orlando Resort.
May 18 – After a week of teasers, Universal has now confirmed the first haunted house at this year's Halloween Horror Nights 33 event at Universal Orlando Resort.
The fact that the newly released haunted house isn't based on an IP may come as a surprise to many Universal fans. It's called Slaughter Sinema 2 and is the sequel to the original concept house Slaughter Sinema that appeared at the 2018 event. This house is described as follows. “If you want to see a B-horror marathon, go to the Carey Drive-in. Scream through creature scenes, grindhouse gore, Spaghetti Westerns, and more.”

The Universal Orlando Resort speculation map appears to have a livery representing the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 vehicle, as was already rumored. There seem to be two speculations regarding the muted speaker symbol. One is based on A Quiet Place: Day One, which is scheduled for release at the end of June and seems most likely. The other floats in The Silence of the Lambs. Other guesses based on the map include Five Nights At Freddy's and Beetlejuice.
The Universal Studios Hollywood guess map also has Ghostbusters and muted speaker symbols. We will provide further updates on Halloween Horror Nights 33 once confirmation is made from Universal in the coming weeks and months.

Mar 7—Earlier this week we were all excited about rumors that this year's Halloween Horror Nights could feature two additional haunts, bringing the total to 12. This speculation arose as a result of Universal's submission to erect two new springs. Tent (see below).
Now, according to Screamscape, these two new spring tents will likely replace lost haunted spaces elsewhere in the park. This means that the parade float building will not be available this year as floats will be occupied for the new upcoming parade.

While this is disappointing news, we're eagerly awaiting news on what exactly we can expect from Halloween Horror Nights this year. Additionally, Universal will need to think carefully about how it can potentially increase capacity following extreme crowds in 2023, and we'll keep you posted with additional details as they materialize.
March 5, 2024 – We've reached this time of year and horror fans are already eager to hear about this year's event at Universal Orlando Resort: Halloween Horror Nights.

Now, more rumors and speculation surrounding this year's event are starting to emerge. In late February, Universal Orlando submitted permits for two new Halloween Horror Nights spring tents, as seen in a post added to X by Behind The Thrills.
Universal has submitted plans to build two additional Sprungs in a warehouse behind the existing Sprung tent. Plans show two new 7200sqft buildings, marked Sprung 3 (B138A) and Sprung 4 (B138B). https://t.co/r8y5zXcnaD pic.twitter.com/QS62JQcI0M

This year's Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort could be bigger than 2023, with 12 locations available to guests instead of the usual 10. With the event becoming more and more crowded each year, adding two additional venues is definitely much needed.
The plans see the addition of two new 7200sqft buildings, labeled Sprung 3 and Sprung 4, which are larger than the existing Sprung 1 and Sprung 2 tents in the same area.
According to Screamscape, Universal Studios Florida's existing Fast and Furious immersive tunnel experience could see it become a temporary addition to Halloween Horror Nights this year.
With the expected demolition of the temporary building that housed the smaller haunted house each year, along with the demolition of the former Fear Factor show location, there will be a significant need for additional haunted houses to help with capacity. The Fast and the Furious immersive tunnel experience would certainly be an ideal potential competitor. We are awaiting confirmation from Universal on this.
We're still eagerly waiting to find out exactly which ghosts will be appearing at Halloween Horror Nights 2024. Will we be seeing Five Nights at Freddy's at the Blumhouse house? Will we see the return of Jack The Clown? We'll keep you updated as we head towards this year's highlights of the many Halloween Horror Nights taking place at Universal Orlando Resort.
Keep reading to stay tuned for Halloween Horror Nights 2023…
