The situation is growing desperate as House Republicans now seek to investigate Biden over things like the origins of COVID-19.
Politico reported:
The impeachment investigation into President Joe Biden is getting messy. And now House Republicans are targeting a range of new oversight targets, hoping they could help trap the president mid-election period.
Finding new lines of attack has felt sporadic, including what Republicans say is a failure of the administration to aggressively combat the Chinese Communist Party. Origin of COVID-19; approaches to liquefied natural gas exports and strategic oil reserves; And whether the administration avoided the Senate confirmation process when nominating John Podesta as the new climate envoy.

There is one problem with investigating Biden about the origins of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic began during President Donald Trump's term.
House Republicans appear likely to attempt to rewrite history and blame President Biden for the origins of COVID-19 when he was not president. For years, lawmakers like Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) have claimed there is a conspiracy to cover up the origins of COVID-19.
Expect House Republicans to dig deeper into the Corona rabbit hole to hurt Biden and take away support from anti-vaccine/conspiracy theorist and independent presidential candidate RFK Jr.
The House majority is running out of time. They thought they could impeach Biden for a crime made out of thin air, and if that didn't work, they had no back-up plan, so they spent the next few months looking to Republicans in the House to throw all their conspiracies at the wall and get something resolved before the November election. I hope so.
