John Cooper, frontman of the Grammy-nominated Christian rock band Skillet, criticized singer Demi Loba for her song 'Swine', which was released this week as a form of protest on Supreme's one-year anniversary. He is planning to give a speech criticizing Demi Lovato. Court overturns Roe V. Wade in 2022.
Cooper Lips Lovato
Cooper brought up Lovato's pro-abortion song during an appearance on the PluggedIn podcast to promote his new book, “Wimpy, Weak, & Woke.”
“It was her kind of pro-life song. And she packs so much evil into that one song,” Cooper said. “In that song she makes the best pro-life argument we always make. In other words, people don't kill babies because they can't afford to have them. They are killing babies because they want to have sex 'whenever I want, with whomever I want.' I don't want to use birth control. I should be able to do whatever I want.’”
“It is pure narcissism and pure evil. And then she’s screaming at everyone who says this is murder.” He went on to urge his parents not to ignore Lovato’s song and “have those conversations with your kids. Understanding the worldview requires some work. But when my kids started to understand that, they thought, ‘This is terrible.’”

Lovato promotes ‘Pig’
Lovato, who identifies as non-binary, confirmed last year that “Swine” was meant to be a rallying cry for reproductive rights.
“It’s been a year since the Supreme Court decided to dismantle the constitutional right to a safe abortion,” she wrote on Instagram. Although the road ahead will be difficult, we must continue to be united in the fight for reproductive justice,” she wrote on Instagram. “I created ‘SWINE’ to amplify the voices of those who advocate for choice and bodily autonomy.”
“I hope this song empowers not only those born in this country, but all who stand up for equality, embrace their own agency, and fight for a world where everyone’s right to make decisions about their own bodies is respected.” “I hope there is,” she added. At that time.
Lyrics of “Swine” include: “God, I want to suck whatever I want/God forbid, I want to fuck whoever I want/And when he cums, I guess I’ll have to be a mommy.”
“F*** I think I don’t know anything/The government knows my body/No, it’s okay, it’s better this way, I’m just a copy/Even if I die, they’ll still try to stop me.” The song continues.

Lovato's anti-Trump song
Naturally, Lovato was an outspoken critic of Donald Trump. In 2020, he composed the song ‘Supreme Commander’ containing a message to him.
“There have been so many times I’ve wanted to write a letter to the president or sit down with him and ask him these questions,” she told CNN. “Then I thought, I don’t actually want to do that, and I thought one way I could do that would be to write a song and put it out there for the world to hear. Then he has to answer that question to everyone and not just me.”
Lovato is the idol of millions of young girls, so it's sad and shocking that she's using her platform to promote something like abortion. We applaud Cooper for speaking out against him, and we think his criticism was accurate!
