Chris Pratt, in charge of the MCU multiverse, isn't ruling out a trip to the DCU.
After recently visiting the film set with director James Gunn, Superman: LegacyThe actor said “there's always an opportunity” to jump-start the franchise, but he was coy when it came to naming the character he'd like to play.
“I think it’s up to the fans and people like James to decide,” Pratt told TMZ. “I’m not sure. I really don’t know.
When asked flatly whether he would join a rival franchise, Pratt declared without hesitation, “Absolutely.”
“If it fits my schedule and makes sense, I’d love it.” He continued: “Of course I would love to play Star-Lord, and I hope the opportunity comes again. I feel so blessed to be able to do any of them and to be considered for anything. If it's right and the fans like it, I'll do it. .”
His comments came after Gunn shared a photo of Pratt on set. Superman: Legacy Earlier this month, he captioned a post saying, “It's always nice to have friends visiting the set.”
Pratt previously made his MCU debut as Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) in 2014. Guardians of the Galaxy, directed by Gunn. They reunited for sequels in 2017 and 2023, respectively. Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Gunn has been hard at work as a director since taking over DC Studios with Peter Safran in 2022. Superman: Legacya new DC multiverse begins. The film stars David Korenswett (Man of Steel), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), and Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen).

After confirming that Gunn is open to casting MCU actors in upcoming DCU installments, he said: Empire A crossover between the two comic book universes is “more likely now that I'm in charge,” he said, adding, “But that's going to take a few years. I think we need to establish what we're doing.” [at DC] first. It would be a lie to say we didn't discuss it. But the whole discussion was very, very light and fun.”
