CharitableBookings.com has launched its online platform as a premium service after raising £5m from angel investors including Lord Stanley Fink, former chief executive of Man Group.
As part of the company's “Global Pledge” initiative to raise £1 billion for charities around the world, users will receive one premium lifetime membership to CharitableBookings.com when they donate £75 directly to one of several charities listed on the site. It's possible. Membership gives you access to wholesale travel and exclusive lifestyle benefits across our hotels.
“We’re excited to offer our users wholesale travel and premium unique lifestyle benefits, with every booking donated to the charity of their choice,” said David Johnstone, Founder and Chairman.
If a business donates £5,000, they will receive 150 branded premium memberships. Major charities include Colonel's Fund Grenadier Guards, Project Harar, Surf and Suicide&Co.

“We are very grateful to CharitableBookings.com for supporting our important work through the Global Pledge fundraiser,” said Jan Joubert, co-founder of the Buffalo Foundation. “Within two weeks we have already received over £10,000 in pledges through this fantastic global scheme. We are a very small charity. This will help us transform the lives of more young and vulnerable people in Africa.”
Premium members have access to over 500,000 hotels in over 200 countries at wholesale/trade pricing. The second benefit is access to luxury lifestyle benefits, including a variety of restaurants, clubs, bars, boutiques and wellness venues.
To further support charitable giving, 1% of all honored hotel reservations are donated to members' preferred charities from a growing list of over 500,000 causes in the US and UK.
