After weeks of spotting people parading Qurbani goats, cows and the occasional camel, and meticulously planning a meat-filled Eidul Azha feast, the big day has finally arrived! Since last night, social media has been filled with 'Chaand Raat Mubarak' wishes from friends and loved ones. Among these ardent supporters were celebrities from Pakistan and Bollywood, who filled her timeline with loving messages.
Some of the first to extend Eid wishes were Armeena Khan, Rabia Butt and Zara Noor Abbas, who took to their Instagram stories to wish their fans and followers. Shaista Lodhi also shared a picture of herself dressed in white as she wished to her followers. As part of the star-studded affair, actress Kinza Hashmi conveyed her Eid wishes in the form of an Instagram reel about her Chaand Raat plans. It was a festive dinner that included a who's who of Pakistani entertainment. The reel featured the actor hanging out with friends, including stars Bilal Ashraf and Adnan Siddiqui.
Actress and TV show host Sanam Jeong wished her followers a happy Eid from the US through a series of photos with her family and the caption, “Wishing everyone around the world a happy Eid.” Another celebrity who wished family ties on Eid was actress and model Aamna Ilyas. She posed with her two children in a white outfit. Nadia Hussain was on her way to Dubai to celebrate Eidul Azha and she wished her followers with a selfie from the plane.
Saba Qamar shared a picture of the colorful bouquet on his Instagram story and captioned it, “May this Eid bring peace, prosperity and love to your life and the lives of those around you.” Mawra Hocane has compiled a series of photos and videos of herself with her goats in stunning baby pink outfits on her Instagram reel. “Eid morning 8am with my angels,” she wrote.
Other celebrities who took advantage of social media to convey their Eid wishes include Shahroz Sabzwari, Ayesha Omar, Kubra Khan, Imran Abbas, Natasha Noorani, Anoushey Ashraf and Aiman Khan, who posted them on their Instagram Stories.
Across the border, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Sidharth Malhotra, Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora were some of the Bollywood celebrities who wished their fans a happy Eidul Azha.
