Carnival Cruise Line has increased the price of bottled water on its ships that can be ordered before or after your cruise.
Carnival Cruise Line does not allow guests to bring bottled water or bottled beverages of any kind on their cruises. They have once again increased the price of the Crystal Geyser Natural Spring Water they serve on the ship.
The new prices are:
- 12 packs of bottled water (16.9 ounce bottle/500 ml bottle): $14.95 (plus 18% shipping fee)
- 1 large bottle of water (50.72 ounce bottle/1.5 liter bottle): $4.50 (plus 18% shipping)
- 8 packs of bottled water (50.72 ounce bottle/1.5 liter bottle): $24.95 (18% shipping fee excluded)
Carnival significantly increased the price of 12 packs of water compared to two years ago. In 2022, the price for a 12-pack was $4.95 plus shipping. This price has now tripled in two years. Large bottled water rose slightly by 50 cents, while an 8-pack of large bottled water rose by $4.95.
Guests can pre-order water bottles through Carnival's The Fun Shops before their cruise, which will be delivered to their rooms on the day of embarkation. You can also order through room service on board.
Customers who need distilled water can also purchase it for $3.25 per gallon plus an 18% shipping fee. Carnival recommends that guests contact their cruise line prior to their cruise to ensure the ship has adequate supplies.
Carnival Cruise Line first banned bottled water on its ships in June 2015. When I did that, they charged me $2.99 for a 12-pack if I purchased it before the cruise.
