How to make bunny chow and Durban curry recipe

1 loaf of flat-topped white bread, not sliced
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
3 cardamom pods
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 cup oil
1 chopped onion
more ingredients
3 tablespoons garam masala
1 teaspoon coriander powder (seeds)
1 teaspoon red pepper powder (similar to red pepper powder)
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 medium diced tomatoes
2 pound leg of lamb cubes
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 bay leaves
2 potatoes in cubes

To start this easy recipe, wash and chop your vegetables. Then
Heat oil in a pan and toss all the seasonings until the onions become translucent.
Step 2
Now add the fine spices and powder and stir until the spices stick to the bottom of the pot. Now add the tomatoes and stir until anything stuck to the bottom of the pot loosens.
Step 3
Add meat, ginger, garlic, and curry leaves. Simmer for at least 30 minutes until the meat is almost tender, then add a little water and the potato cubes.

Boil until the meat is tender.
Step 5
The bread for the main dish should be an uncut rectangular loaf with a flat top. In South Africa it is known as the “government sandwich loaf”. You can cut the bread into 2, 3, or 4 even loaves.
Step 6
Whatever you decide, use a sharp knife to cut off most of the soft white bread, leaving behind the thick walls and bottom. Save the removed bread.
Step 7
Take a ladleful of curry, put it in the empty space, and put the bread you removed back on. Since it is “a bread that is always eaten with your hands,” you can also use this bread to make curry.
