Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have postponed three scheduled shows in Prague and Milan “upon doctor's orders,” Springsteen announced on Instagram on Sunday.
The move comes after the iconic musician had to reschedule a concert scheduled for Saturday in Marseille “due to audio issues”.
Now, “after further testing and consultations, doctors have determined that Bruce should not have surgery for the next 10 days,” Springsteen wrote on Instagram.
The concerts affected are those at Prague Letnani Airport on Tuesday 28 May and at Milan's San Siro Stadium on Saturday 1 June and Monday 3 June. Springsteen said new dates for both shows “will be announced soon.”
The post said Springsteen is “recovering comfortably” as he resumes his European tour in Madrid on June 12.
Last fall, Springsteen and the E Street Band were forced to postpone all 2023 tour dates to the following year due to Springsteen's peptic ulcer disease. He received treatment last year and was in recovery.
At the time, Springsteen said to his fans, “Thank you to all my friends and fans for their good wishes, encouragement, and support. I am in recovery and hope to see you all next year.”
Before that, Springsteen had postponed and canceled several dates due to health issues.
