The actor, who starred in the action-comedy drama along with Choi Yang and Sam Song-ri, wrote on Instagram on Saturday, “To all the fans of '. brothers sun, thank you for joining us in this labor of love. It will take some time to digest this news, but I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who loved and supported the show. Thank you for all your posts, tweets, edits, interactions, etc. It's great to know that this show has resonated with so many people. “Your love has made all our collaboration, sacrifice and heartache worth it.”

Chien went on to acknowledge the “amazing” team behind the show, including producers, writers, stunt coordinators and fellow cast members.

Their blood, sweat and tears to create the best show possible. “Our show wouldn’t be the same without their new gray hair and sleepless nights,” he wrote. “Mama Sun, Sam, and fellow cast members — the TBS family is forever. Thank you everyone.”
The actor concluded by thanking several Netflix executives for “giving our story a platform and giving me the opportunity to play my dream role,” as well as “their hard work and support behind the scenes throughout the process.”
Chien said, “Thank you to everyone who loved me. Without you, this wouldn't mean as much. I gave everything I had to this show, and I would love to do the same on my next project whenever possible. I promise to give it my all. I love you, Chairleg.”
