Late Tuesday evening, Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson announced that he would file a brief in support of Steve Bannon's appeal of a contempt of Congress charge related to the illegal January 6 Commission's J6 investigation.

Citizen Press tweeted about Steve Bannon's “big news” Tuesday night.
1) The Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group (BLAG) voted 3-2 tonight to affirm the official legal position of the House of Representatives: that Committee J6 is unlawful and that all subpoenas issued by it are unlawful.
2) BLAG has now directed the House Counsel's Office to file an Amicus Brief supporting Steve Bannon with Judge Roberts.
3) Matt Gaetz explains how the BLAG process works in the video.
4) I spoke to Bannon last time and he was optimistic.
Big news for Steve Bannon tonight.

The Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group (BLAG) is a permanent arm of the U.S. House of Representatives, established in 1993. It consists of the Speaker of the House and the majority and minority party leaders. BLAG directs the activities of the Office of the General Counsel of the House of Representatives and provides guidance and oversight on legal issues and decisions pertaining to the House of Representatives.
Chairman Johnson appeared with Sean Hannity on Fox News tonight to offer some hopeful news.
Sean Hannity asked Speaker Johnson to update viewers on recent actions by the U.S. House of Representatives. “Mr. Chairman, I know it could be a change in position on the House and the January 6th Committee, it could be on Steve Bannon, and it could have a big impact on his contempt case. Please tell me what’s going on. .”
Chairman Johnson responded: “Yes, we are working to submit a written opinion on his appellate work in his case because we believe the January 6th committee was incorrectly constituted. We believe the work is tainted. We believe they may have evidence that is very well concealed, or possibly even more sinister activities. We have been investigating the committee itself. We disagree with the way Speaker Pelosi has put all of this together. We believe it violated House rules. “So we will express that to the court and we think it will help Steve Bannon’s appeal.”

This decision by the Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group (BLAG), which the committee declared on January 6 unlawful, also declared subpoenas served on Steve Bannon, including those he ignored, allowing the J6 Witch Hunt Committee to charge him with contempt of court. Allowed.
Speaker Mike Johnson also appeared on CNN to discuss the House's decision on Kaitlin Collins, which disappointed her.
I omit any comment on Caitlin's influence here.
But more importantly, CNN continues to spread the lie that the president cannot have executive privilege when it comes to communications involving someone outside the government (see end of clip… https://t.co/tqDGev77Vn).

Last week, Steve Bannon lost his appeal to postpone the July 1 start of his prison sentence for contempt of parliament.
The far-left U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit ruled against Bannon. Bannon, former chief strategist for former President Donald Trump, will likely ask the Supreme Court to intervene.
Rep. Byron Daniels was asked about the vote on the House floor today. Rep. Daniels (R-FL) responded with the following tweet:
“If Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro are the standard for DOJ prosecutions, why is AG Garland the exception?
Garland decided that his opinion mattered more than the American people's elected representatives.
He thinks he is above the law.
That's a serious problem.
“Congress must act,” he said.

On Friday morning, former US DOJ Double Assistant AG Jeff Clark posted this on Twitter: There are only 9 days left until Steve Bannon is sent to prison for 4 months until the 2024 election, the most important election in the last 150 years!
On Friday, Clark warned that he had just nine days left to send Bannon to federal prison.

Bannon's team just filed a motion for an emergency stay with the Supreme Court. See snapshots of the first two pages below.

It looks as if the House of Representatives threw away the wrongly accused and sentenced Steve Bannon to a life raft! Pray for Steve Bannon, for the brave members of Congress fighting to save innocent people from the clutches of Democrats who use the law to punish their political enemies, and for Chief Justice John Roberts to see clearly what this sick and crazy plan of the Democrats is. And he will do the right thing.
