Press Release B-29 Doc Historic Restoration Tour Scheduled to Land at Georgia Gwinnett County Airport (KZLU) March 21-24, 2024 Aircraft from Georgia Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Air Force Base will join Doc's Historic Restoration Tour no see. Tour is suspended. Includes a B-29 Doc flight experience ride and a ground and cockpit tour of the B-29 Doc. The B-29 Doc is one of 1,644 B-29 Superfortress aircraft built by the Boeing Company in Wichita during World War II. Several of Airbase Georgia's historic World War II aircraft are also available for boarding and tours.

All flights will arrive on Wednesday, March 20th and will be located at Sheltair – LZU, 850 Airport Road, Lawrenceville, GA, 30045. The aircraft is available for boarding, ground and cockpit tours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays, March 21 to 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Aircraft availability for ground and cockpit tours is subject to onboard flight schedules available at www.b29doc.com and www.airbasegeorgia.com. General admission tickets for the ground and cockpit tour are $10 per person or $20 per family and can be purchased at the gate.
