But this week was a new week for her. Ava pointed out two trolling comments on her TikTok account that showed completely opposite views. The only thing they agreed on was that her body deserved criticism.
“I saw two strangers commenting on my body. The first said I was too fat and I should ride OzM Peak.” She wrote in a video of herself applying lipstick: “The second time he accused me of starving myself because I was too thin.”
As she emphasized, this is the same body they are commenting on. “My weight hasn’t changed between their comments,” she said, adding, “(and if it did, it wouldn’t be any of their business!).”
By calling these types of comments “such bullshit,” Ava got to the real root of the problem. “No one deserves to be split because of their looks,” she wrote. “You don’t always know what someone has been through or what challenges they are going through,” she said.

“But it doesn’t matter who you are,” she added. “Your beauty goes beyond such superficial measures.”
She captioned the video summarizing her argument. “Pretty is pretty, ladies,” she wrote. “Bodyshaming is simply harmful behavior.”
She specifically mentions this as a milestone as a woman, but adds it as an addendum because she sees “body shaming as simply harmful behavior.” Nonetheless, “body shaming is harmful no matter who it is targeting.”
“We all deserve to feel safe and at peace on the ships we live in,” she concluded her message.

This isn't the first time Ava has proven she's fearless when it comes to taking on trolls. A few years ago, Ava said, “I'm attracted to people… (of any gender).”
Almost immediately, she started getting slammed by trolls and quickly took to her Instagram Stories to respond, according to People at the time.
“I can and will block profiles that comment on my posts with bigoted and hateful messages,” she said. She wrote, “My Instagram profile is not a place for cruelty/hate speech and I will do my best to keep it that way. Peace and love.”
With this latest post, it's very clear that she's as passionate about fighting for positivity and fighting back against trolls now as she was then.
