Apple Jing'an welcomes its first customers in Shanghai on Thursday, March 21.
The new Apple Store in Shanghai features the best-ever lineup of Apple products, special Today at Apple sessions that celebrate local culture, and a team of more than 150 people ready to provide exceptional service to customers.
Shanghai Apple today unveiled Apple Jing'an, located near Jing'an Temple and Jing'an Park in Shanghai. The store is surrounded by an exterior plaza that not only provides the community with a gathering place for special events, but also provides a unique shopping destination for customers to discover and purchase Apple's unrivaled lineup of products and services.

Store and Team
Located next to the landmark Jing'an Temple, Apple Jing'an is a must-see attraction in Shanghai. Approaching the store through a grove of maple trees lining the upper part of the square, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the temple. As guests descend the stairs, they pass by a terraced double curved wall that extends circularly forward to form amphitheater seating. This seat will feature Apple Jing'an hosting a Today at Apple session created specifically to celebrate the community and its creators. Upon entering the spacious store from the lower level, customers can explore the surrounding streets and browse tables displaying the latest iPhone 15 lineup, the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air with the powerful M3 chip, and Apple's first carbon products. Once inside the store, visitors can take the central staircase or use the stainless steel elevator to move between floors. Featuring a large central video wall, the Forum is a space for learning and inspiration through free Today at Apple sessions. Meanwhile, the boardroom provides a private environment for the store's business team to provide advice and training to entrepreneurs, developers and clients from large and small businesses.
From the store design to the materials used to bring the store to life, every element of Apple Jing'an is purpose-built. Reflecting Apple's long-standing commitment to the environment, the new store features Padang Light stone walls sustainably sourced locally in China, giving the store a perfect visual and material harmony.
Our team of 150 people is ready to help customers purchase a new device, provide custom setup and support, learn how to transition to iOS, or learn about retail services like Apple Trade In and financing programs. .
Ideally located just steps from public transportation, the new store offers a dedicated Apple pickup station, making it easier than ever for Shanghai customers to order online and pick up their devices in store at their convenience.

The opening festivities include a special performance by the youngest members of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra to share the future of classical music in-store for customers. Apple Jing'an will also offer a special six-week Today at Apple program that will honor the community and creators through the Let Diverse Creativity Bloom in Jing'an series. After opening weekend, the store will host free Today at Apple sessions to help users set up, connect, and get the most out of their devices. Free Apple-led programming includes:
