Angie Harmon's teenage daughter was arrested.
This is really unfortunate.
Just months after Angie Harmon's dog died in a horrific incident (she sued Instacart), her middle child graduated from high school.
But her teenage daughter broke into the nightclub and stole bottles of alcohol a few days later, according to Charlotte police.
Angie Harmon's daughter was arrested in early June.
Avery Grace Sehorn is Angie Harmon's 18-year-old daughter. She has an older sister (20 years old) and a younger sister (15 years old). Their father is Harmon's ex, a former NFL player named Jason Sehorn.
Charlotte Mecklenburg police records show. entertainment tonight Authorities subsequently arrested Avery Sehorn on June 6.
It was just days after she graduated from Charlotte Christian School. This was also just a few weeks before her 19th birthday on June 22nd.
WCCB Charlotte reports Angie Harmon's second daughter, Avery, is accused of breaking into World Nightclub on June 5.
She is believed to have had two unnamed accomplices, two 17-year-old boys.
These three people were drinking alcohol legally, which is illegal for a number of reasons. They attempted to steal six bottles of alcohol totaling $500, according to authorities.
Avery Sehorn faces two felony charges.
One of the charges against her is a felony count of trespassing and/or trespassing. The other is a felony count of breaking and entering and/or theft after breaking and entering.
After her arrest, she was released from prison.
On June 28, less than a week after her 19th birthday, she appears in court for the first time.
Sure, we could joke about how Angie Harmon has been playing a fictional role within the justice system for 30 years and probably knows her way around the courtroom, but that would be in poor taste.
Their family has been through a lot this spring. The horrific shooting of the family dog may not excuse theft, but it certainly does illustrate a major lapse in judgment on the part of a teenager.
It's a real shame, because right before this alleged crime occurred, Avery's famous mom was celebrating her daughter's graduation on Instagram.
Surely we hope Avery or the two unidentified minors don't let this alleged prank sabotage their futures.
And of course, if this is a terrible mistake and they are innocent, we don't want anyone to interfere with their future.
Either way, this is definitely not how Angie Harmon or her daughter wants the world to think of her.
