Representative and Senate candidate Adam Schiff (D-CA) said the Supreme Court would further discredit itself if it did not act quickly on Trump's immunity claims.
Schiff was asked about delays in Trump's criminal case on CNN's State Of The Union and said:
There is also a possibility of avoiding justice by postponing it.
This is a proven tactic throughout Trump's career. And I hope the court knows exactly what he's doing and his motivations for prolonging it. And I hope they don't follow that strategy.

New York hopes to investigate the facts as to why this discovery was released late. If Trump's defense team pursued this without requesting it in advance, the trial should not be postponed any further.
But my biggest concern is about the events of January 6th. This is the most serious suspicion against the president. This is a case filed by the Ministry of Justice. The Supreme Court moved very quickly when it ruled that Trump could vote. The question is whether the Supreme Court will move quickly to reject this bogus immunity claim.
If you don't, you're essentially making a deliberate decision to try to get the trial through the election. And I think that would be a terrible decision for justice as well. Depriving American voters of the information they will learn during the trial would be a terrible decision, but it would also further discredit this partisan and reactionary court.

Rep. Schiff was right. If the Supreme Court postpones its ruling on President Trump's immunity claim, which has been rejected by all previous courts, it will prove that Supreme Court reform is desperately needed because the court is completely corrupt and cannot function as intended by the Constitution.
There is no doubt that the courts will rule against Trump, but we cannot do his dirty work by causing unnecessary delays.
