Klerhens Ballhaus
People have been dancing, flirting and falling in love at Clärchens Ballhaus for over 100 years.
This traditional Berlin dance hall is elegant and old-fashioned. It's a place where you can get close to your loved ones and remember your first date with your partner.
The mirrored walls of this place showcase everything from heartbreak to wild parties, mouth-watering food and hard-working women amidst the chaos.
And guess what? The Berlin Bear is still rocking out here, with a mix of salsa, Argentine tango, swing, cha-cha and waltz tunes every evening. And get this – you can enjoy your meal right in the middle of the dance floor!
Along with classic German cuisine, they create wood-fired pizzas and fresh cakes from their own bakery. How cool is this?

Sputnik Kino
Sputnik Kino has a unique charm that screams “Kreuzberg Cool”.
One of our favorite cinemas in the city, Sputnik Kino, is located on the top floor of the backyard close to Hasenheide Park. Its cozy screening room screens the best of mainstream and independent cinema, and there's even a “couple”. Seats where you can cuddle up while watching a movie.
With its ingenious mix of brick seating and cozy loveseats for your sweetheart, this Berlin cinema stands out from the crowd. The main theater, which can seat 77 movie buffs, has its own vibe. And don't miss Cinema Auditorium 2, also known as “Kulturrevolution”. You can sit back and relax on sofas and armchairs in an environment that feels more like a cozy living room than a traditional movie theater.
But the real showstopper?
The bar has great views over the rooftop, making it another great place to watch the sun set before the movie ends. Breathtaking views from the cinema bar's large French windows and balconies offer stunning panoramas of Berlin's rooftops.
And let's talk about the bar itself. It's a spacious, open concept and boasts a funky yellow counter reminiscent of the 50s.
It's the perfect place to have a drink and soak up the Berlin atmosphere.
