Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley appeared on Saturday Night Live and asked Trump why he doesn't debate her and take action on the causes that led to the Civil War.
What did Nikki Haley say on SNL?
Haley was introduced as a concerned South Carolina voter and told Trump on SNL, “Yes, hello. Why not discuss Nikki Haley?”
SNL Trump said, “Oh my God, it’s him!” The woman who was in charge of security on January 6th. It's Nancy Pelosi!
Haley asked Trump, “Are you okay, Donald?” “You may need a mental acuity test.”
“Do you know what I did?” Trump said. I took the test and got a perfect score. Okay? Perfect score. They said I was 100% mental. And, as you know, I am capable because I am a man. This is why women should never run our economy. Women are weak with money. A woman I know recently asked me for $83.3 million.
Haley responded: “And you spent $50 million on attorneys’ fees. “Do you need to borrow some money?”
SNL Trump said, “Oh, Nikki, don’t do this, Nikki. Nikki Tiki Tabi. Nikki, don't miss that number. Nikki Haley. Joel Osment. Nikki Haley, Joel Osment, we call her. Six cents, remember that? I see dead people.
“Yeah, that’s what voters will say if they see you and Joe on the ballot,” Haley said.
Haley then closed the segment by restating the causes of the Civil War question. “I was just curious. What would you say were the main causes of the Civil War? Um, do you think it starts with S and ends with Lavery?
Nikki Haley said, “Yeah, maybe I should have said that in the first place. And we're broadcasting live from New York. It’s Saturday night!”

Appearing in SNL's cold open was the best campaign ad the Haley campaign could have dreamed of. That sight was especially dangerous for Trump. That's because over the course of his campaign, Haley has made her own claims about the former president's cognitive decline.
Haley also pointed out that Trump won't debate her and will burn his campaign funds on lawyers.
It's still very unlikely that Nikki Haley will win South Carolina, but her appearance on SNL did more damage to Trump and helped make him even more unelectable.
