Second World Games has announced the launch of Fantasy Troop, a fantasy league for Web3 games integrated into the company's Second World: New Era game.
With this launch, the company raised $3 million through a pre-sale of $SWIO, the native Web3 token.
Developer Carlos Cameo, who released his first game at age 14 and founded his first multi-million dollar company at age 18, co-founded Second World Games with Íñigo Cavestany in 2022. Around that time, Cameo realized that most cryptocurrency games weren't fun to play.
“I never want to start with money. Games can bring in huge profits. But we decided to start this company with one purpose in mind: to create great gameplay,” Cameo, CTO of Second World Games, said in an interview with GamesBeat. “We set out to create mobile games to the quality standards of the gaming industry. So we started hiring a team of professional game developers.”

You must build your city and compete with other players to earn rewards. You then build your army and start battling others in real-time online battles.
Second World: New Era is the second game to go live from the studio. A free-to-play competitive strategy game inspired by classic games like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. Leveraging Web3 technologies such as Immutable zkEVM with Polygon support, players can compete globally, earn rewards, and engage in strategic NFT transactions for real financial gains.
Set on the real-world inspired planet Earth, Second World: New Era combines city-building and PvP strategy as players rebuild their civilization one city at a time, manage their battle decks, and climb the leaderboards to earn special rewards. We encourage you to get it.
Second World Games now presents “Fantasy Troop,” the first fantasy league for Web3 games that combines active gameplay and strategic management.
