There are more price reductions for European freight rates. Flights to Berlin from several U.S. cities are being sold at steep discounts for travel this fall.
This sale includes departure cities such as Atlanta. Washington DC; Miami; And New York City. Most Scandinavian air options include stops, but the Miami and New York City routes (via low-cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways) are direct.
The travel period is from August to February 2025. Prices fluctuate significantly during your search, but you may be able to find some discounted prices. This sale is for economy tickets.
Scandinavian airfares include a free carry-on. Norse Atlantic and Play Airlines allow one personal item when traveling in economy. Carry-on baggage fees range from $45 to $66 one way, and checked baggage fees range from $75 to $110 one way.

You can also fly nonstop on the same route in September for $282. I also saw this route for this price on a December trip.
In the fall, you can also fly nonstop from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Berlin for less than $300 round-trip with Norse Atlantic. This itinerary includes Thanksgiving. This means you can peruse Berlin's famous Christmas markets, which usually start in the last week of November.
Flights from Miami to Berlin will be slightly more expensive in early 2025, but $309 for a nonstop ticket is still a very good price for this route.
There are also solid sales rates from Atlanta to Germany. SAS is offering round-trip fares from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Berlin in early December for $487. This includes a stay in Copenhagen, with a 20-hour stop in the Danish capital on the return flight.
Unlike Norse Atlantic fares, SAS fares come with a free carry-on baggage allowance. According to Google Flights, this route usually costs more than $1,000.
You can book Play Airfare from Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, D.C. to Berlin in early 2025 for $365 round-trip. This route has a one-way stopover in Iceland and requires additional carry-on baggage fees.
If you can travel in early September, you can book a Nordic Atlantic round-trip fare from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Berlin for just $432. This is a huge discount compared to typical prices on this route.
