Apple unveils Apple Intelligence
Apple Intelligence leverages the power of Apple Silicon to understand and create language and images, take actions across apps, and leverage users' personal context to simplify and accelerate everyday tasks. The cornerstone of Apple Intelligence is on-device processing that provides privacy without collecting user data. Private cloud computing sets a new standard for privacy in AI with the ability to flexibly scale compute capacity between on-device processing and larger server-based models running on dedicated Apple Silicon servers.
iOS 18 makes your iPhone more personal and intelligent than ever
With iOS 18, users can now arrange apps and widgets in open space on the home screen, customize the buttons at the bottom of the lock screen, and quickly access more controls in Control Center. In the largest redesign ever to the Photos app, your photo library is automatically organized into a single new view of your photos, and useful new collections make it easy to access your favorites. All-new text effects have been added to iMessage to bring your conversations to life by amplifying letters, words, phrases, and emojis with dynamic, animated looks. Users can now communicate via satellite in the Messages app even when a cellular or Wi-Fi connection is not available.
iPadOS 18 takes iPad to the next level
In iPadOS 18, your iPad experience is more diverse and intelligent than ever with new features and apps designed for Apple Pencil. The Calculator app comes to iPad with Math Notes. This allows users to type or write down mathematical expressions and instantly solve them in their own handwriting. New writing tools in Notes, including Smart Scripts, make your handwritten notes more flexible and easier to read.
macOS Sequoia brings new ways of working and innovative intelligence to Mac
With macOS Sequoia, continuity between iPhone and Mac is better than ever with iPhone Mirroring, giving you full access and control of your iPhone directly from your Mac. Safari gets another big update with a new Highlights feature that makes it easy to search for information on webpages while you browse. The game becomes even more immersive with custom spatial audio that puts players in the middle of the action like never before. And Apple Intelligence gives Mac users new ways to improve their writing, communicate more effectively, create fun images in seconds, and more. Apple Intelligence takes full advantage of Apple silicon and the Neural Engine and is supported on all Macs with M-series chips.
watchOS 11 delivers powerful health and fitness insights and more personalization features
watchOS 11 delivers groundbreaking insights into your health and fitness and delivers more personalization features than ever before. The new Vitals app shows you key health metrics and context, the ability to measure training load delivers a game-changing new experience when exercising, and the popular Activity Rings are even more customizable. Smart Stack and Photo Face use intelligence to deliver more personalized features, while the Health app on Apple Watch and iPhone and iPad provides additional support for pregnant users. New features for check-in, translation apps, and double-tap gestures have been added to Apple Watch to improve connectivity and convenience.
VisionOS 2 brings a new spatial computing experience to Apple Vision Pro
Just a few months after its initial release, VisionOS 2 brings a powerful spatial computing experience to Apple Vision Pro. This includes new ways for users to create spatial photos using images already in their library, intuitive hand gestures that make important information easily accessible at a glance, and new features.
