explanation
The ITT aims to procure batches of up to 15 first-person view racing quadcopter-style drones, each consisting of 20 drones and potentially associated options, capable of carrying a variety of payloads depending on propeller size, from the International Drone Capabilities Alliance. We are planning to test it. . The intention is that platforms that meet the requirements after testing will be considered for potential future production contracts (up to approximately 1000 drones per month).
The system must be produced and delivered for testing within three weeks of contract award (expected from August 12, 2024). Bidders must ensure that their system meets all eligibility questions and entry criteria before submitting a proposal.
Bidders will submit proposals under this tender to secure funding to provide the requested number of drones, including ground control stations and auxiliary devices. The system is then tested and evaluated (up to a three month period). These findings will inform future requirements that are likely to lead to large-scale production contracts (subject to additional contracts).
