At the streamer's advance presentation last month, the streamer announced: 3 body problems Benioff, Weiss, and Woo are credited with “all-new episodes,” assuring fans that “we'll be bringing this story to its epic conclusion.”
No episodes or seasons have been released, sparking a ton of speculation. The number of seasons matches the trilogy of books by Cixin Liu on which the series is based, and the trio said this format will allow them to tell the story as intended.

“These kinds of stories ease you into the world of the story, but then the story gets really wild in the best way possible,” he said. “In something as rough as that, there are a lot of choices to make and a lot to figure out. “We've been putting our heads together recently, especially over the past few months, to try to solve that problem.”
Benioff, Weiss and Woo, who have a deal with Netflix, serve as creators, writers and executive producers of the series. Executive producers include Bernadette Caulfield, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Lin Qi and Zhao Jilong, as well as Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner's Plan B Entertainment, Jeremy Kleiner's company, and Primitive Streak's Rosamund Pike and Robie Uniacke.
