Grace Bay Resorts has announced a November 1 opening date for its newest Turks & Caicos resort, South Bank.
The 31-acre Providenciales resort is located along Long Bay Beach and consists of 92 one- to six-bedroom accommodations. Accommodation will be spread across four “neighborhoods”: Ocean Estate Villas, Lagoon Villas, The Boathouses and Arc. (As part of the property's phased opening plan, the Arc area is on track for completion in 2026.)
Grace Bay Resorts said the centerpiece of the facility will be a five-acre man-made “ocean swimming lagoon” designed to provide “a protected area for guests to swim and play.” The 4.5-foot deep lagoon is surrounded by a white sand beach and consists of two islands.
Other amenities include a beachside fire pit lounge, fitness facility, tennis court, pickleball court, and a spa with four beachside treatment rooms.
The building will also house Lua, a Mediterranean restaurant, and Nuttin Bar, located on one of the lagoon islands.
Rates at South Bank start at $888 per night.
The hotel will be the fifth luxury Turks & Caicos resort in the Grace Bay Resorts portfolio. Become a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
