Politico reported:
Former first lady Melania Trump's office said in a statement Friday that “We are honored that Barron has been selected as a delegate for the Florida Republican Party, but unfortunately he declined to attend due to prior commitments.”
The youngest Trump will graduate from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, next Friday. The former president was given a day off to attend a criminal hush trial in New York.
A Trump campaign official previously told POLITICO that Barron is “very interested in the political process in our country.”
Barron Trump may care about the political process, but he doesn't seem interested in spending four days of the summer supporting his father. None of this is surprising. Even young Barron understands that being a representative for his potentially convicted felon father is a bad look.
Ivanka Trump is planning to return to the campaign trail with her father, but will not be seen again until after her criminal trial is over.
The Trump family is nothing more than a bargain.
Talk of Barron Trump becoming RNC leader always sounded very out of character for the Trumps. Of course, by the time the convention is over, both Trumps will have spoken at the Republican National Convention, but the fact that Trump can't even get his youngest son to be a delegate highlights the dumpster fire nature of his third son. Run for president.
