Taylor Swift The same friend who was arrested at her home this weekend showed up on her doorstep again this week. And most believably… the police showed up to handle the case.
A law enforcement source tells TMZ … a man was taken away in handcuffs on Saturday. I'm trying to access Taylor's NYC townhouse. On Monday she had the gall to swish her pad again, something her security team and surrounding neighbors immediately noticed.

We're told that as soon as the friend arrived, Taylor's head of security immediately called the police, and our sources say everyone reported the same thing. That means he was just hiding.
Of course, considering what happened to this friend a few days ago… that's a big problem. We're told that an NYPD officer eventually arrived on the scene, but he couldn't immediately locate the man. But it didn't take long to track him down. He turned the corner.
Our sources say they found it less than a block away from Taylor's home. It was there that his interaction with police stopped, with officers handcuffing him again and throwing him into the backseat of a police cruiser.
There's no question about it…we're told this is in fact the same dude we had on Saturday. But at this point, it's unclear what will happen to him or if charges will be pursued.
You'll remember… When he was first arrested, police said they found him fiddling with Taylor's front door. Police recognized this as an attempt to enter without permission.
When they ran him through their system, they discovered that there was an open warrant for his arrest. This relates to a separate incident from 2017 in which he failed to appear in court.
Needless to say… it's problematic for him to be back on the field any time soon. To say the least, you have to think that law enforcement will be a bit stricter this time around.
Then again, we know that celebrities have had a hard time being a successful deterrent from these kinds of people who seem obsessed with them. The criminal justice system often fails to protect them from potential harm.

As you know… Taylor has had a long and documented history with stalkers in her career. He's also previously been arrested while trying to enter a Manhattan pad a few years ago. I'm not sure if this guy is one, but already… he's not setting a good precedent.
The new documentary, “TMZ Investigation: Obsessed and Dangerous: Hollywood's Stalker Crisis,” airs Monday at 9 a.m. on FOX and details Taylor's story and more.
