Kevin McCarthy is trying to rehabilitate his image, but his lies are so outrageous that even Fox News set him straight.
McCarthy tried to argue that Donald Trump was running his own trial. “Think about it.
In the process, the witness has already been proven to be a liar. We'll see what happens when Attorney Cohen testifies. We all know this, but it goes back to one question. The former speaker was just now unwinding as he insisted that Hillary Clinton never conceded the 2016 election.
McCarthy said: “These people talk about the danger to democracy. They risk trying to deny democracy in this country. This is what Biden and the Democrats have done that really concerns me. “Did I ever tell you that Hillary lost the 2016 election?”
Howard Kurtz corrected McCarthy: “Yes, she called Donald Trump and conceded.”
McCarthy said, 'Yes. But she never said that in the press.'

Why is Kevin McCarthy trying to rehabilitate his image?
Kevin McCarthy is trying to rehabilitate his image. This is because if he returns to the White House, he is mentioned as a candidate for Trump's chief of staff. In the Fox News interview, McCarthy demonstrated a willingness to lie again and again about everything, but some lies were so obvious that not even Fox News could ignore them.
If Kevin McCarthy's return goes this way, it will be a huge failure.
Even Fox News isn't entirely buying what McCarthy is selling.
