Trump leads by a wide margin in Ohio polls
“Of the 1,300 registered voters sampled statewide, 50% voted for Trump and 41% supported Biden,” Breitbart said. Another 9% are undecided but are largely leaning toward the 45th president.”
“When pressed on which way the undecided demographic should lean, 57% chose Trump, while 44% chose Biden. When included in the full sample, Trump's lead expands slightly. He and Biden register at 55% and 45%, respectively,” the story noted.
More from the story:
Trump maintains a commanding lead over Biden in the broader field, which includes independent candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West and Green Party candidate Jill Stein. In this five-way race, Trump received a response rate of 47%, followed by Biden with 38%. Kennedy came in third with 6%, followed by West and Stein with 1% each. 7% are undecided.
Emerson College measured how committed respondents were to the candidate they chose in a five-way race and asked whether they would be open to changing their minds. Just over 80% said they would “definitely” vote for the candidate of their choice, and 19% said they could change their choice.
Emerson College conducted a survey from March 7 to March 10, the day of Biden's State of the Union address, and the reliability interval is ±2.6 percentage points.
This poll comes as we are almost certain to see a Trump vs. Biden general election.
Trump has already hinted that the same is true in his case through social media posts.

Trump: “We will win”
“Our party is united and strong, and we fully understand that we are standing up to the worst, most incompetent, corrupt and destructive president in American history,” Trump wrote.
“Opinion polls strongly suggest that we will win the 2024 presidential election,” he added.
Trump is not wrong in many states, according to several polls, including in Ohio.
