meghan markle and prince harry It has taken steps to increase its online presence by quietly launching a new website called Sussex.com.
The new website contains information about the couple as well as their current activities.
The launch comes ahead of Harry and Meghan's proposed trip to Canada for the One Year to Go celebrations at Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
All about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's website Sussex.com
On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex unveiled Sussex.com, a new website providing up-to-date information about them and their activities. This move was made without any announcement as neither of them wanted to make a fuss.
The newly launched website replaces Sussexroyal.com, which the couple previously ran, but internet users can access Sussex.com via a hyperlink on the landing page.
Visit Sussex.com and you'll see a home page featuring a photo of the Duke and Duchess at the 2023 Invictus Games in Germany, which the duo also used in their Christmas card last year.
The website says, 'The Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan.'
As part of the content, the website includes links to learn more about Harry and Meghan, as well as links that redirect to the Archewell Foundation organization and the Archewell Productions hub.
Is 2024 the ‘Year of Salvation’ for Sussex?
The launch of the new website could be one of many moves Harry and Meghan have made to reinvigorate themselves in 2024. Sources have already claimed that the duo see the new year as a “year of redemption” after going through quite a bit of turmoil. A confusing 2023.
Fans may remember how Harry's bombshell memoir 'Spare' caused an uproar after it was published earlier that year, with many accusing him of putting the royal family in a bad light.
Midway through the year, the duo lost their Spotify deal, and things got worse when an executive tagged them “f—— fraudsters.” This couple became the target of ridicule on comedy programs such as 'South Park' and 'Family Guy', which damaged their already shaky image.
There's no word yet on what more moves the duo will make, but it certainly looks like it's coming. Meghan has previously hinted that she and her husband have an exciting lineup of projects in the pipeline.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry travel to Canada to prepare for Invictus Games
In the future, Meghan and Harry will travel to Canada for the One Year to Go celebration of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
There, they will meet domestic winter training camp participants, including team managers, coaches and competitors.
The gathering will be an opportunity for stakeholders to immerse themselves in a winter adaptive sports experience ahead of next year's competition, scheduled for February 8-16, 2025.
The 2025 Invictus Games will be the first-ever winter sports competition, as previous games have all been held in the summer or fall. It will also feature alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, wheel curling and skeleton, in addition to more common sports such as volleyball, swimming, basketball and rugby.
Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 to serve wounded, wounded and sick soldiers. Previous competitions have been held in Orlando, Toronto, Sydney and most recently in the Netherlands and Germany.
Why next year's Invictus Games will be so emotional for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Not only will next year's event be the first winter sports event, but it's also one whose location holds sentimental value to Harry and Meghan.
Canada is where their whirlwind romance that captivated the world began. The two first met in London in 2016 through an acquaintance.
Megan previously lived in Toronto, Canada for several years while working on the acclaimed series 'Suits'. The first time Harry and Meghan publicly revealed their relationship was at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto.
The following year, on May 19, the couple exchanged vows at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, marking the beginning of their official titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They then returned to Vancouver Island, Canada for a brief stay in 2019, where they announced to the public their decision to step back from their royal roles.
